What can I help with

Moving to a new city is a big enough job without trying to organise everything remotely. If you're planning a relocation to Glasgow - whether from elsewhere int he UK or overseas - I can help with practical tasks that need someone there in person.

That might include:

• Viewing or checking out properties on your behalf

• Accepting deliveries and preparing your home for your arrival.

• Booking trades, cleaners, or help to get things ready.

• Arranging wi-fi and utilities so they are live from day one.

• Shopping for essentials (kitchen, bathroom basics)

• Giving honest, local advice on neighbourhoods, services or day to day life.

• Acting as your contact on the ground until you are settled.

Not a Relocation Agency

There are agencies that do relocation. Im not one of them. I dont offer fixed packages or corporate services. What I do is more personal, calm, task based support, agreed between us.

If something needs to be done on the ground, and I can help, I will.

That's where I come in. I'm not a concierge or a corporate fixer. Im someone who lives here - someone who knows the very heartbeat of the place and someone who can take care of practical things and help make day one feel like a fresh start, not a scramble.

The estates agents photos weren't telling us much. He viewed it in person, took photos, and helped us  make the right call (area was not the best).

"He picked up the keys and met the cleaner"

We wanted the place fresh before arriving. He arranged it all and left the fridge stocked with basics. 

"We just needed someone on the ground"

Moving internationally is a lot. It helped having someone local who wasn't part of a company - just someone looking out for our best interests.

FEES

I charge a fair rate for my time, based on the task or ask. No upselling, no surprises - just a clear agreement on what needs done and what it will cost.
